Sir Winston's Simple Recipes


** The Old Fashioned **

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. Bourbon
  • 1/3 oz. Sir Winston’s
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • Orange peel
  • 2 dashes Bitters (optional)

 

PREPARATION

In a rocks glass, muddle Sir Winston’s, a cherry, & bitters. Add Bourbon & fill with ice. Stir with class and poise. Rim the glass with orange peel & garnish with cherry. Enjoy!

** The Spiced Alexander **

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. Rum
  • 3/4 oz. Sir Winston’s
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Bean ice cream
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree

 

PREPARATION

Mix all ingredients in a shaker. Pour into a coupe glass rimmed with turbinado sugar. Enjoy!

** The Sangria **

Step 1: WINE MIX

  • 750 ml bottle of Rose
  • 1/2 Cup Sir Winston’s
  • 3/8 Cup Ruby Port Wine
  • 3/8 Cup Orange Liqueur (Cointreau)
  • 3/8 Cup of orange juice

Combine all ingredients & keep cold until ready to serve.

Step 2: FRUIT MIX

  • 1 granny smith apple, cut into 1/2 in. cubes
  • 1/4 cup Ruby Port wine
  • 1/3 cup of Sir Winston’s 
  • 1/3 cup of triple sec
  • 1 cup cranberries (or raspberries in the summer)

Combine all, cover, and let soak overnight. When finished the fruit should be “soupy” from the juices being drawn out. 

Step 3: PREPARATION

To serve: Fill wine glasses with ice. Scoop 2 tablespoons of the fruit mix & juices over the ice. Pour wine mix to fill. Enjoy!

** The Baked Apple Sidecar **

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz. Green apple juice
  • 3/4 oz. Sir Winston’s
  • 3/4 oz. lemon juice
  • 2 oz. Rye whiskey

 

PREPARATION

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Pour into a coupe or martini glass (depending on your mood). Garnish with green apple fan. Enjoy!
